PROCLAMATION HONORING

LORENA STEARNS

Whereas, The Hubbard Township Board of Trustees would like to applaud Lorena Stearns on her being honored by the Ohio School Boards Association Business Honor Roll for her dedication to supporting our local schools.

Whereas, Lorena has been a lifelong lover of books and reading.

Whereas, Lorena has been the Director of the Hubbard Public Library in Hubbard, Ohio, since November, 2013.

Whereas, Her leadership has fostered meaningful partnerships that give hands-on learning experiences to Hubbard students.

Whereas, Lorena enabled meaningful volunteer opportunities, access to VR headsets and solar kits, and encouraged staff to participate in events such as the annual STEAM Festival at Hubbard High School and the annual English Festival at YSU.

Now Therefore, The Hubbard Township Board of Trustees recognizes Lorena Stearns for her exceptional dedication to the library, the community, the Hubbard Exempted School Village and the residents of Hubbard Township.
