  • Congratulations, Officer Stamos!

It is my honor to recognize an officer whose dedication, work ethic, and commitment to public safety truly exemplify the standards of this department. During the April Distracted Driving Campaign, made possible through the 2026 SHEP Grant, our department was able to place additional officers on the roadway to conduct targeted traffic enforcement efforts focused on distracted driving, Click It or Ticket, and Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over initiatives. These enforcement campaigns are not simply about writing citations — they are about changing behavior, preventing crashes, and ultimately saving lives. One officer stood out throughout this campaign through exceptional effort and unwavering commitment — Officer Stamos. Officer Stamos consistently went above and beyond by volunteering for and working numerous extra shifts in support of this initiative. Through hard work and professionalism, Officer Stamos surpassed all other participating officers in traffic stops, citations issued, and verbal warnings provided to educate drivers on safe driving habits. What is especially important to recognize is that this work directly impacts the safety of our community. Every distracted driver stopped, every impaired driver deterred, and every seatbelt reminder given has the potential to prevent tragedy on our roadways. The commitment shown by Officer Stamos reflects a genuine dedication to protecting the residents and visitors of our community. These efforts do not go unnoticed. They represent the type of proactive policing and community commitment that strengthens public trust and keeps our roads safer for everyone. Officer Stamos, on behalf of Hubbard Township Police Department and the community we proudly serve, thank you for your outstanding work, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. At this time, it is my privilege to present Officer Stamos with this Certificate and Pin for Commitment to Excellence in recognition of outstanding performance during the April Distracted Driving Campaign. -Chief Freeman
